A certified Arizona real estate property
appraiser may appraise one to four
residential units without regard to
value or complexity. A total of 200
approved class hours are required
at this level. Also, an Associate
degree or higher (or equivalent credits)
is mandated starting in January 2008.
An Arizona real estate property appraiser
may choose the path of a certified
general real property appraiser. At
this highest level, a general appraiser
may appraise all types of real property.
Applicants for the Arizona general
real estate property appraiser must
hold a Bachelors degree or higher
from an accredited college or university
(or equivalant credit hours). In addition,
300 appraisal classroom hours including
the 15 hour USPAP course is required.
