at the certified level is a "person
qualified to issue appraisal reports
for residential real property of one
to four residential units, without
regards to transaction value."
Requirements are 120 hours of appraisal
education, no less than 24 months
of experience in real property appraising,
and an associates degree (equivalent
credits in specific courses).
A Florida real estate property appraiser
at the general level is a "person
qualified to issue appraisal reports
for any type of real property, including
both commercial and residential, regardless
of the property value." Requirements
include 180 hours of appraisal education,
at least 30 months of experience in
real property appraising, and a bachelors
degree (equivalent credits in specific
